Reviewing Notes (Student)

Reviewing Notes (Student)

There are two methods for reviewing notes made in courses. The first is to view the material within a Course Pack and click on the arrow in the top-right corner of the screen. This option will allow you to view a list of all notes made within the document and can be clicked on for expansion. By clicking on the Refine  results button at the top of the list you are given an additional filtering window to search by specific note types, authors, and a variety of other filters. Clicking on the individual notes will allow the user to comment or vote on the note’s relevance.

As an instructor, it is important to have tools to view multiple courses with ease and Omega Notes provides this tool through the Notebook tab under the user dashboard. Within this notebook, the professor and students can review notes related to their courses and filter the view using the settings wheel
in the top-left corner of the screen. These filters are like those found within Course Packs but add the additional option to filter by course. Using this specific feature for note reviews allows the professor an easier and faster means of tracking communication and providing support with multiple classes simultaneously.
